Measuring Up Guide For Your Flooring

Measuring your room is very important to ensure you get the correct amount of flooring, below you will find some useful tips on how to measure your room correctly.

All flooring products we sell are sold by the square metre.

To determine the square metre size of your room, measure the width and length to the out most point. And ensure that you measure into the door frame where the flooring will meet the next room.

E.g. the width is 4 metres and 40cms x Length 3 metres 20cms to determine the square metre size multiply the 2 measurments and you will acquire the area you need in square metres 40.40 x 3.20 = 14.08m²

If you room is of irregular shape you will need to consider that there may be some waste and therefore it is wise to buy more.

With sheet flooring there is likely to be more waste than if you were buying tile flooring.

It is wise if you are unsure to get someone to measure your room for you if you are unsure as most products are cut to order and would be non returnable.
